Question: bulino deer

No Jared, they are part of a collection I did store on my hard disk. The round one was posted by Roland Baptiste, but not engraved by him.
I try to store those photos in a folder name that makes sense.

Jared,
If you go to the FEGA website you can look through the castings and probably find what you are looking for. I have found casting to give me a much better idea on how to create a certain effect because you can actually see the cuts versus pictures unless you get a super macro shot. I have the Frirmo & Francesca Fracassi book that has wonderful photos of their work but casting still give you that little extra...

Sam, I'm with Fred, those are beautiful. I've been playing around with trying to do a border like that and I just can never seem to get it right.

Todd, You are absolutely spot on. Borders and lettering are much overlooked or ignored UNLESS there is the slightest error then it sticks out like a sore thumb. On a bordered like the rope, the slight shading at the overlap, any inconsistency and it shows. Not enough practice in these for most of us I think. I really sweat the borders. Always a time of high stress for me. Fred
