I just started a project cutting a Great Western Arms SAA clone as a tribute to my Great Grandfather who left me a set of them. One chambered in .22 and one in .357 Atomic. (just a silly name for a hot .357)
The finish on the .22 had seen better days and I needed a platform to do a presentation gun for masters review so I decided to strip and refinish it. Needing a good set of outlines for it I used Mike and Les's side view from the Engraving Transfers set and added the other parts to make a complete layout sheet. Mike gave permission to make the page available so I'm posting it here for anyone to use. It will also be available on Gerry's database.
The parts should be fairly close to the standard SAA as Great Western was the first clone and they used many original Colt parts that they purchased from Colt when they set up shop.
I hope someone can make use of these and please, if you alter these for your own needs and re post it, please add reference to Mike and Les and the Engraving Transfer website as was done on this sheet. This was added as an attachment so I don't know if it can be printed out from here.
If not, it will be available on Gerry Beathards site.
