Custom Knife Help

I am looking to pickup a couple of fix blade knives at a local gun and knife show.I would like some advice on what to look for. What makes a good knife? I plan to engrave them for resale. Any advice would be appreiciated.

Dennis,
I would start by going to a couple websites.
http://www.americanbladesmith.com/
and the Custom Knife makers Guild..

Read what ya can.

Then when you get to the knife show, look around & ask for someone that "Makes" knives, not just sells em..

That should put you at least on the right track.......hopefully

If you're lookin for a good knife, at a reasonable price..
I would suggest getting one of the "Ruby Shortcut" knives from Don Cowles.....
