finally cut a .5" thick pvc ring to fit my turn table, and rex be advized buddy it works out just great. one problem tho; in a prior thread i questioned why one would need a level ball vise. well, it seems you must level your assembly or at least the turntable, or it may decide to wander off on its' own. i had no cloth handy for a buffer, so used a large circle of 20# plotter paper. offers a perfect resistance ( for me ) keeps the ball where i want it, but can be relocated with my left hand as i'm rotating the ball. this is taking me a bit of getting used to under the scope, but is worth the effort. i'm using gander mountain .25" dia. slingshot ammo.
this may not be for everyone, but may prove to be good for scope users that like to cover larger areas in quicker fashion. my grandson is the only loser here; he was looking forward to all that ammo for his slingshot . drat !! questions 724-328-4951 .
