if the table boss is 1.8?", grainger sells a thrust bearing for about 6 bucks that works pretty good........... it's a standard 2" dia.I.D.

Just thought this before and after might be helpful for someone using a drill press stand. Working on this hammer was getting annoying when it bumped into the post.

Pretty straight forward, just measure twice, disassemble, cut, and reassemble.
