I recently saw a Winchester 1892 rifle engraved by R. Chapman but Google searches have not turned up any information on this man. Do any of you have any knowledge of who he was or when he worked?

Hi Neal Richard Chapman is an engraver who works from Gosford NSW Australia he has been engraving around 40+ years and is still working his main area is in guns and knives but also items like ferrals for custom fly rods he doesn't have a website or advertize and you will find him had to locate as if you were looking to get hold of him contact the blackpowder muzzle loading club I think it located near Musslebrook area. I had him do a custom 257 reberts improved that I built 30years ago when I lived in australia he does excellent work all Hammer and chisel or push quality old school. If you still have a link to that winchester I would like to see it Richard is the person who got me interested in engraving in the first place.
