Hello Forum.
So I've got a Almar money clip that I engraved last year for a couples anniversary it came back to me this week with a tension spring (for the nail file and pocket knife) broken. it shows no real signs of abuse, only normal wear.
I've contacted Almar's customer service with no response.
Is there anyone on the forum that repairs knives? I'm not sure how the spring is held in place, but it may need to be drilled, replaced and, re-riveted; if this is the case it will need to re engrave some after the repair is done, but i'd like to be able to get this knife back into proper working order for my client. any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. K Frei
