Engraving Ruger Red Label shotguns?

...but that was 7 years ago and the gun I've been asked about is of more-or-less current manufacturer. Anybody (tried to) cut one lately?

Hummm,

I engraved several of them, they are hard but if you use a wide angle chisel they cut alright as long as you do not want to do something to delicate.

thanks, Thierry- I believe the client wants something fairly simple so it should be doable.
