Thank you all for putting up with my questions about different machines. These are the first peices done on my toy. They are money clips to be groomsman gift for a wedding in south dakota. I went with the GRS gravermax sc instead of the mach for the simple reason that i dont need a bias control valve. I got a 901 handpeice and Im satisfied with the machine but not beside myself, there seems to be a small loss in power in comparison to old graver max. None the less I am happy with it and will simply go to a magnum handpeice. The graver sharpener however is my new best friend. I still want a lindsay but later when I am able to do the detail it allows. A thanks for all your input. GRIFF

Nice work!

You can get more power out of your GraverMax SC with the Magnum handpiece. The 901 is the 'middle of the road' handpiece, the Magnum is the 'heavy duty' and the Monarch is the 'delicate work' one. Since I started with a Magnum I'm going to add a Monarch later - it'll make delicate work like shading a bit easier.

From what I've heard the Magnum with the long body is supposed to be a good match for bright cut work.

Griff~ Absolutely well done! Very nice bright cuts. The saw work and soldering very clean as well. I am sure the new owners will be very proud to receive these. Glad to hear you are happy with your new toy!

Best regards,
