Flint lock plate engraving

This is a lock plate for a rifle I am working on. There is still more to do on it, there will be a flower von the tail. This is hammer and chisel, and early American primitive style.

LRB, nice design, is for the Christians Spring (E. Marshall) rifle. the cutting is nice & clean.
Nice nick & dot also.
Great fun polishing the lock plate, huh?
