Got a phone call this afternoon from a man who carried one of my knives through three tours in Iraq. He is in Florida at a Ranger training facility right now, and just called to say "thanks" and to report that the soldiers really appreciate all our support. I told him we appreciate their support, and thank God for it. This is a great day to be grateful for what we have in this country.

And our English speaking cousins too

We Americans are just a small part of the English speaking peoples of the world. The 4th of July is a good day to remember all our other English speaking friends around the world too.

Hi All,
So, happy birthday America. Being a loyal American I went home to
Metro Detroit for the Fourth. When we were kids, we go to the Detroit
River front to watch the fire works. A lot of fun.
I didn't have to go to the River on the fourth. All I had to do was walk
out the front door of the house in Dearborn Hts. There were more shells
going off as good as what you would see down town at the river.
This is all quite illegal of course in a residential neighborhood.
It lasted at least two hours.
I got to say the home land is truly over the top. God bless America and
the Americans for being an amazing people.

Jim
