I just got back from the Las Vegas Beinfeld Show. It was the best I've attended. The Knife show was great and showed excellent custom knives that would provide fantastic formats for engraving (potential investments). The antique firearms show was an entire days walk to get through it (pedometer said 6.4 miles). The quality of antique arms for sale seemed to be better than I've seen in the past. Marty Rabino would have suffered coronary arrest looking at all the great 1886 formats available. They were very pricey Marty. The sporting arms show was also top drawer. You would have needed Sam's check book to have walked away with one of those beauties.
All in all there was some marvelous engraving to look at and critique.

Everything always is very pricey in Vegas. They do get some fantastic pieces for sale though. I've been very pleased with the Denver show since I have moved out here. Can usually find something I can't live without in the realm of 1873 or 76 Winchesters. Have a safe trip to Reno Glenn and CYA there.
