This is my first attempt to post a picture. Hopefully one will appear here. I engraved this buckle about 25 years ago and it was my first attempt to engrave something in steel entirely with a push graver. Up until this time I had started out with hammer & chisel then to NgraveR then to Gravermeister. I kept practicing with the push graver however to do finer work than I could do with the other methods. When I finished this buckle I felt that I had finally mastered the burin (push graver). I do not have a digital camera with a macro lens so I had to shoot this picture from across the shop with the lens zoomed in. The picture lacks the kind of detail we all like here but I think you will get the idea. I just wanted to see if I could figure out this uploading for now. More when I get the proper photograpic equipment.
