Hello all. I just signed up about a week or so ago and have been reading alot and trying to learn. Being that I've never done this sort of engraving, I've been working with the high speed rotory tool I was wondering what would you all recommend as the bare minimum to start with. What would be the first gravers you would buy. I don't have alot of money so I'm hoping every couple of months or so I can try and build on my collection.
This here is the sort of stuff I've been doing. The zippo didn't come out with lines as deep as I'd like so when I get some normal gravers I'd like to go back over the lines.

Nice work!

The rotary is the only way I know to 'engrave' on glass. I want to get one later so I can use it for background removal. The ability to do glass is only a bonus if my drawing skills are up to it by then. ;)
