Fantatic photos.

Who needs electric lights and a microscope when you can have a kerosene lamp and a magnifying glass.

That is a really interesting vise.

Very interesting. Andrew I read some old books about engraving and there was article about light in workshop. Some engravers didn't use the kerosene or oil lamps. It was two glass bowls like bottle, one was bigger in size than other. The big one was filled with water and the small one was placed inside of it with candle. That gives very strong light, I remember we were making this experiment and it was working very good. I just think this is interesting fact to tell.

i don't know about age, but half the junk i use looks way worse than that stuff ! you guys & gals ought to see my hammers ! yall would fall out of your chairs !
