Dmitry,
I like it being a fisherman myself. How heavy was the sheet metal for the buckle, those cuts look pretty deep.
The irregular edges give it a nice touch.

i've done over 1600 buckles over the years. most brass, nickel silver, a few sterling, but none of mine were quite this interesting !!!! nice to look at
Dmitry, very nice. I am working on a large one right now with a scroll pattern. Lots of background being removed. i like the fact that two pieces were used to give it so much depth altho it looks like a lot of saw blade work. That is still faster than grinding or engraving all that background out.Speaking of fish its about time to go fishing. Its been a long winter. Doug
Kerry Bogan: First plate goes like background, the top plate is the working plate, where it necessary material was removed. Then plates was soldered together. On the 3rd picture you can see the back of the buckle. I can make some drawing to explain how the belt will be connected.
