I used mostly a quill nib dipped in Higgins ink, and Micron pens. Want to use rapidographs once I get mine working properly. The ink coming out of mine was coming out kind of thin, so I'll be trying a fresher batch of ink.

Marrinan I'm working up to all that with my drawings, putting in my time to get to nice engravings. "If you can't draw them, you can't cut them", a wise quote from an old engraver I knew.

Dragon flies are fascinating! I watched one once on Kodiak do a half loop, grab a gnat out of the air, then land on a bush to eat lunch. I call my property Odonata Station because of all the dragon and damsel flies here.

And a very nice drawing indeed!

so they eat skeeters ? in the summer we could use a few more of them. in these parts, they tend to favor lots of still water- lakes, ponds, and dams. not too many congregate by creeks and streams.
