Here are some pictures of an 8 and 4 bore shotgun. I found the engraving interesting. I apologize for the poor photography. I hope you enjoy the pictures. View the Data card photo and it tells you about the two guns. The 4 & 8 bore table shows a full view of them laying on the table.

Hey Sandy

So how did you pay for them......cash or cheque???????????????? :D
They are stunning thanks for posting the pictures. If I could do that good 100 years later I'd be pretty happy.

Cheers

Sandy...After talking with Dietrich Apel Founder/Editor in Chief of the German Gun Collectors Assoc. at the Balto Gun Show he told me, "When working with his uncle Paul Jaeger..he commissioned Austrian and German engravers and could never get them to do half or 3/4 coverage..it was always full coverage." I myself have never seen a German engraved gun that wasn't fully engraved. Thanks for posting those beautiful pictures.

Yours truly,

Hi Rick. Next time you are going to Emporia let me know and we will have lunch. I wish the guy who had it on display would have let me roll them over so I can get the other side. If he is there in October I'll try again.
