Came out pretty good!

Now you see why I do a lot of my practice on copper. ;)

I see a couple of elbows in the scrolls - I bet if you cut it again it comes out cleaner. Central flower looks nice all filled in.

If you want to do this on a Zippo make sure you get one of the solid Brass or Copper ones - the chrome plated ones are a pain to cut. Still need to get around to adding something to mine to see if using some lube helps. If you dig through my posts I've got one where I list the model numbers for the nice-cutting Zippos.

Jim, looks pretty good! Keep after it.

Steve, does zippo make a stainless model like in 410? Ive been trying to find some nice ones to color engrave.

Tim

I didn't find anything with 'steel' (other than a Pittsburgh Steelers one) or with 'stainless' when I searched at the place I get them.

You could try one of the plain brushed chrome ones - I haven't tried cutting it with lube but without it was a pain to cut. Retail on the plain brushed chrome is pretty cheap if you want to run a test.
