Bill, to reiterate what others have said, these are very valuable tools for the beginner as you can actually see the character of the cuts etc., but possibly the greater thing is the art value. I mount them in a shadow box on a wooden spacer to get them up off of the background, which is black felt. This makes a very nice miniature art piece that catches everyones eye when mounted in a sconspisious place in your home. Maybe the greater benifit will be later as they will serve as a record and will be as valuable as baseball cards. we can only hope that will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised. I have a collection of possibly fifty or so. I enjoy them eminsley and show them to visitors who come to my home. They ALWAYS create interest in the art. It is the first thing that people walk over to look at. Students, engravers, and some collectors collect them. they are very educational............Ron S
They will also get you a little mad money and you will get paid for another job over and over again. we all could use that I think.
