pro and cons?

Im finnaly gonna get a scope as far as my vice is concerned I used a positioning vice at a show but it seems like it would be easier just to slide the whole vice over is a turn table the trick? though i would ask for some input from you guys thanks.

We rarely ever use a scope for "Western" style engraving, and we have plenty of them.

You have to tilt your vise and roll quickly in this style of engraving. You are covering large areas very fast. I think you will find you are constantly chasing the work area and refocusing - wasting time. The work is generally large enough to see well with an Optivisor or similar magnification...

Try it though, it may work for you?
