Hello. I thought I would post a few recent projects on the Forum. IMG_5607.JPG IMG_5606.JPG
The Whit Knife is a Todd Allan fixed blade IMG_5608.JPG IMG_5609.JPG
The Giraffe bone knife is a Lee Thompson Folder that I color matched the bone to fill the background with. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Mitch Crest Ring.jpg this Family Crest was cut out to give it dimension and them sand blasted back ground, then engraved and inlay'd. the total height of the ring is 18mm so its quite small

Its a medium Aluminium oxide media, and masked with simple fingernail polish, that is allowed to cure well. after blasting its polished with a lapping wheel, and a lightly charged Chamois

I'm lost in the aluminum oxide and the finger nail polish... can you post some pictures or a video in how you do it.

Carlos. You just paint fingernail polish anywhere you don't want the sandblasting to affect. In this case, paint the crest and the background is blasted.

Doesn't the fingernail polish come off by blasting Layne? I would think it would blow'n off in seconds, have to give it a try, sound easyer then using tape.
