mdengraver's post about the mermaid carved guitar got me looking at the various guitars made by William Jeffrey Jones. This particular one caught my eye the most. :biggrin:

The website says they are semi-hollow body. Only $12,500! I told my guitarist son if he throws in $10K, I'd pay the rest. He didn't go for it. He says we should build one from Warmouth parts and I could inlay and carve it... probably engrave some metal parts also.

That's a real beauty, I love 'Art Guitars'. I'm sure that wooden pick-up cover would have some influence on the tone,
