sharpening fixture

OK, so i sold my ngraver rig so i could put the money into a GRS dual angle sharpening fixture. But now there's talk of a new one that showed up in Reno. Sooooooo, what's with this new one. Is it a better investment than the GRS one??. If so, what makes it so?. How much is this new one and where would I get one should I choose?. Will it work with my existing post that is use with the old GRS fixture?. Thoughts?

Cody there was a very good thread on this on Steve's forum. I thinnk it would save a lot of re-writing if you check it out. I think Steve made it a sticky so it should be easy to find.

There was also a thread on here that deatl with it to. Do a search and you should be able to find it.

Thanks guys, the links provided pretty much answered the questions I had asked. However, they also opened up a whole new flock of ?'s regarding the "Lindsay patent point geometry". I'll start a new thread to make searches easier in the future.
