Silversmithing and Drawing workshop

Shawn Didyoung and myself will be putting on a three day work shop Oct 8-10 at my home shop in Twin Falls,Id.

Dave Alderson and Shawn Didyoung are offering a class together.
drawing and silver fabrication.
Oct. 8th thru the 10th at Daves shop.
we would like to have at least 10 students attend.
$650.00 per student....a portion will set aside for BBQ and beverages
half of the day spent drawing...half spend working on the silver project.

I would love to do your workshop, but October is always busy and I'm afraid I've already got a project kicking off that week. If you do it again I will try my best to make it.

Shawn , I see you have your creds on the poster so I want to add mine!!!??? Engraver of the yr, Governors award for Idaho, former TCAA member, Certified professional jeweler,That ought to give us some credibility. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! we will be having a great time, I will be getting out an information packet soon with a list what to bring where to stay ect. Dave

Hummm, funny, not long ago I did read members complaining about a new comer advertising himself and his work, it was "inappropriate". Would someone explain to me why is this thread is more appropriate, how is it different from selling services (engraving) or goods? I will add that the poster is not even a "Pledge member" which I thought was a per-requisite if one was trying to make money on this site. What about a little consistency? Why not even a percentage to our host who make that business possible?
