My guess- Kyoto.

The only thing that I would like to see different is that the scenes be sculpted.
Yes, it means starting out with a thicker piece of sterling or whatever canvas material you choose, BUT, the traditional Japenese style is VERY DEEP SCULPTING. Time for you to revive that tradition!
