Hi all, I finished this Spyderco a few days ago. I know it's boring and predictable, but that's where I'm at right now. I know there's lots wrong with it, but the one that really makes me mad is the little empty spot where the two sets of scrolls come together in the middle. I had put a little leaf there to balance it out, and then while taking out background, I rekon I just cut the dang thing completely away. I didn't even notice it until I finished stippling and zoomed out to take a look. Is there a way I could have fixed that? I had no idea how, and no time, but just wondering. I know no one else is dumb enough to do something like that.

Wrong, we have all turned some element into background. You did a great job on this knife. Be proud of your skill in design and execution, Fred

Maybe it is to simple a "fix" but in the interest of balance take the other leaf out. The half blank space to me is more noticeable than a complete blank space. Super work.

looking at the left, i would simply let the design flow over to the right end. fwiw-- it looks rather nice as is !

Thanks for your thoughts guys I really appreciate it. Yeah, I probably should have just cut the other leaf out at that point. Duh!
