Question: stainless steel Rossi lever action

Hi All I have a friend that has just purchased a Stainless steel lever action Rossi and would like me to engrave it .
So the big question has any body done one lately.
Are they engraveable.
Did you think it was over hard.
Any feed back would be grateful.
Or tips and info generally that you have would also be helpful.

Funny you should say that Richard I told him the same thing but he said it didn't matter as long as his guide dog like me that fine by him
