Better than being on the cover of the Rolling Stone!
WOW! MANY THANKS ANDREW!
I am honored beyond belief that Andrew chose one of my photos to go on the cover of The Engraver magazine. The photo shows the last Ruger Birdshead Vaquero that Roger Henrichs engraved. I was hoping Roger would have lived long enough to have seen this for himself but, he didn't quite make it. Roger died on October 31st.
I'm sure Roger's wife Nancy and their family will cherish this issue of The Engraver as much as I do. I think I will try to get an extra copy to frame.
I've had photos printed in several magazines and a "coffee table" book including full page color photos but having one of my photos on the cover of an international magazine... that's wonderful.
THANK YOU ANDREW!

It's always a real pleasure putting the magazine together and it's a real credit to everyone that supplies photos and write articles.
I'm now working on the next magazine which should be in letterboxes around Christmas time and it will have all the latest January FEGA show info.....plus some great articles by Mike Dubber, Lee Griffiths and Ben Bentvelzen.
So if you have anything including photos for around the traps..........please send it through ASAP.
Doc...that is an excellent tribute to Roger and a great photo on its own merits. And Andrew, what can I say that hasn't been said over and over. Thanks for the beautiful product you have made of The Engraver. We all hover close to the mail box when it gets close to time for it to show up!!!
