I have been using the Cerelli transfer solution to transfer pencil drawing to metal.

I just discovered that if you print text on tracing paper it will transfer quiet well to metal.
I'm using HP all in one printer and Bienfang 25lb. tracing paper. 56 black ink cartridge.

When the solution gets tacky I place tracing paper on metal with a piece of transparency on top and burnish with a nickle. Transparency protects delicate transfer paper.

Plain printing paper won't work at all.

Monk, it is a solution that Mike cirelli came up with.

There is an earlier post on this forum about it.

It is made form the New Zippo premium lighter fluid and damar varnish.

20% damar and 80% lighter fluid.

I do!

But there are a lot more people who own ink jet printers then those of us with lasers.

Plus, it's good to have (or at least know) options.

Premium lighter fluid? Think those Zippo folks are stretching things a bit. My guess is any fluid will work as they are all the same chemical.
Btw, I just use plain Damar and it works great all the time. Fluid I guess would lengthen the drying time .
