David, Sorry the ones i have are tungsten carbide. Im not shure if we are talking about the same material. If they are tungsten carbide i would run!

David the only thing that can be done on the tungsten is to scatch it with a diamond point type tool. Other wise forget it.

If you have access to one of those new fangled lazer engravers, thats about the only thing that would touch it.

#1, this stuff should never be worn as contact jewelry. #2 you will only mark tungsten in any of its forms with a diamond tool. i cant fathom why people would want this crap on their fingers. in some cases it may contain traces of thoriated material. :eek:

Thank-You all for your input. I just can't fathom why manufacturers are making jewelery out of this stuff. Titanium was bad enough! IMO Jewelery should be made from Precious metal.
