I picked this little '51 Navy up recently. It had been scrubbed and engraved. The pic is poor, but the initials are GM '92. Would very much appreciate any information on the work.

thanks,
Jonathan

Boy that is a beautiful piece. You are one lucky guy to pick that up.

Thanks. Kind of a mystery piece. Can't even figure out the manufacturer since it was scrubbed. When I saw the initials, I became more interested in who did the work. I know next to nothing about engraving, but I am curious about how much work went into this. The pattern is repeated on two inches of the muzzle also. Any ideas?

Purvis1,
As Carlos said, look under grips. May be you will be lucky to see something...

Unfortunately, no love there either. Just the numbers "134" on grips, grip frame, trigger guard, and rear of frame. Thanks for the reply, though. Maybe the numbers will help me at least track down the manufacturer.
