What NOT to do!

As many of you have seen the recent post from Gargoyle (Walter), I finished the engraving for his logo. What you didn't see was the original bulino engraving. I got really carried away with the fun of doing all the details that I love. Unfortunately, the image needed to be drastically reduced for printing purposes and although the details did print, they were way too dark to "read" well. So several hours with Photoshop and many significant changes we finally got the result you see in photo 1.

The original engraving is approximately 2x2 inches.
