The material is steel, Richard St. Ledger blued it, I think he heats it in hot salt.

Each of the pictures I add to my Phil Coggan file, Print and frame I believe is your finest. Surprise, another is around the corner. I am an avid reader and carry my IPAD with me everywhere. I have created a "book" if you will, with the works of top hand engravers works, sited of course, to share with those who ask questions with brief biographies to share with those who ask what is possible. It also contains my work and I share my limitations and my abilities for I understand my place in the flow of engravers.
