your work reminds me in a way, of some work posted on the forum long days ago by chris booysen. i recall a floor plate he did, showing a plant native to the south african area where he lives and works. i like the style you've chosen as yours.

He was out of the business for about 24 month, recovering from two heart attacks I read on the other forum.
But he's back now and started engraving again.

I disagree with Ed. I think you should be ultra critical of your work. That will help you improve.
