If anyone is interested in iron age metal working methods, check out Brian Clarke's website www.ribbontorc.com He has written a book and dvd on these techniques and there is a wonderful movie trailer. He uses deer antler's for stakes. It's pretty cool.

fascinating. i would think the thing would be quite uncomfortable to wear. may even produce lacerations here & there about the neck.having said that, the gentleman probably does far more practical stuff (in my mind) than that shown in the clip.
