We will be attending as vendors, and in our vendor packet, received this week, we have a few extra tickets. If anybody is interested in going, please let me know and we will try to arrange a way to get the tickets to you in time.

It is in Enumclaw, Washington State at the King County Fairgrounds, this upcoming Sat and Sun. I would rather share than see the tickets go to waste.

I first offered to family, no takers...now to you. If no takers, I will post on one of the Facebook forums. I would rather friends and people of similar interest get them.
email is willtheengraver@gmail.com, or reply to this post. First come first served.
Thanks, Will Bockemuehl:tiphat:

a friend once tried to show me how too toss the caber. throwing a telephone pole around was an exercise in frustration. hernias, pulled muscles, and other maladies soon showed up. going to the games was quite interesting, though. a lot of fun to be there and see all that went on.

Much easier to throw a race, a game than the caber! That's why we go as vendors. Only thing I throw is sometimes my back, loading and unloading the car!

It is a blast, pipers piping, pretty girls (and boys) leaping and dancing, drummers drumming. The cornucopea of foods, the clans offering libations to long lost members, the lowing of the scottish cattle and the barking of the scottish dogs. Quality voices lifted in songs of inspiration, battle and love.

All in all, its a fun weekend, and usually our best show of the year. We are the best (or close to it) jeweler selling Celtic/Scottish/Irish wares at the show, and if not the absolute best, the best selection. Not the cheap trinkets that many vendors pawn off on the unsuspecting, but treasures to last years, a lifetime and to be passed on to the next generation.

Best of luck. Just had my first spin at being a vendor. It's really exhausting. I do much better behind the scenes.
Sounds like you've got it failed tho.

Thank you. It is exhausting! I hope it was worth your time. Our niche, in the world of jewelry, is Celtic and engraved...sometimes together. The highland games at venues around the Pacific Northwest usually are worth the effort for us, in direct sales. We also do some Arts and Crafts shows more local to Spokane, and justify it as advertising, letting people know about us and our store. It also is a great way, and excuse, to remove the chain that shackles me to the store, to get out and mingle, breathe some air and see the sun.
