So, here we go. From the beginning to the end. I had to shrink the last picture so sorry for the bad quality.

Fabulous engraving work, and an awesome knife!

Thank you Barry,
I'm trying to find my own way into this engraving world, to find my own style and such.
Not sure if it is "political correct" so to speak to mix Bulino and line engravings but to shade the gold like this aloes me to bend and twist it in a different way. I cant do that with line cuts.

Wow, fantastic design and execution. I don't mind political correctness overly, that which works for you...

Thanks Dani,
It's always good to hear others opinions. I don't have that many to talk to here in Sweden about how I should go at things. This forum is basically it and I have learned a great deal through here.

Mike, I think you will find most of us "mix and match" dot and line work all the time. It is the best way, for me, to get the subtle shading I want. Beautifully done knife and engraving!

This is the things I am struggling with, what is okay and what isn't. Thanks Sam!

Fantastic. Great design. It's really full and rich without being crowded. The gold really keeps the eye moving across the panel. Well done!

Thanks, that really means a lot to me. There is so much to consider in a scene. Funny one would think, how hard can it be but all these variables to keep in mind... It's just mind blowing.
