I just purchased an NSK set off a girl on E bay who had bought it new ,used it once and than wound up not using it as much as she thought she would so she sold it, I got everything shown in the pictures for $400, I think it was a really good deal but was wondering what you all think, Im not really sure what comes with the set when you buy it new, I know that all the burrs and stuff are extra and I believe the foot pedal wasnt original with this, It is set with an on and off switch and the foot pedal was separate with a dentist 4 hole hose attached. I just did an easy modification of the hose so i WIN_20190721_15_54_26_Pro.jpg t attached after the on off switch and it works fantastic, can regulate the speed real nice. also has a can of the lubricant clean out spray that is usually used with dental hand pieces, ( I have a couple of those and they work great also but are not made for long duration use and clog real easy with metal dust requiring a clean out , This is the cats Meow.

Ide say you did fine, I love my presto! Just go easy and let the speed do the work, it's the exact opposite torque wise to using a dremel or foredom. The presto has zero torque, but at 360,000 rpm those bits erase wood and bone, and do a fine job on copper and brass.

You mention a can of lubricant clean out spray.I have two different air turbine handpieces and both of the instructions say not to use any oil or lubricant. Yours may be different, but I would recommend that you check the NSK instructions. In fact the instructions for the GRS 850 (which, I think is a NSK clone) states: ' Requires NO Lubrication. Oil will damage handpiece.' Your results may vary.

That's a good deal there, congrats! The foot pedal is not included but can be an optioned in a set.

I actually found an E mail she sent me on E bay that she sent the cleaner/lubricant because I had mentioned that I have a couple of dental drills and she had the lube but nothing to use it on anymore, ( she had sold her dental hand pieces a few weeks earlier ) so she just added it as good will. . And you are absolutely right about No Lubricant on the Presto.
