I kinda like the way this guy turned out......what say all you please?
Very nice, I'm still having trouble learning bulino. I want to see the work flow of someone at work to see how quickly they make their dots or cuts. How quickly do you pick away. I'd prefer to learn correct bulino with metal removal and not just stipple type dots but can hardly find much good info or video. it's always zoomed in so close you don't get an idea of how the tool is held and how quickly one would work as an experienced bulino artist. Or it's under a scope which doesn't give much perspective. I'll keep looking thru the forums though.

Well Mr. C&A.......just learning myself and with a lot of research, this forum and almost constant practice it feel into place better about 60 -70 hours of practice. I use both lines and dots, and I try to keep my speed down, sharp, sharp, polished polished gravers are a must. It's easy to keep going after the little ball at the end appears but don't. Constant cutting with a dull point destroys the light reflection. Accurate line placement is pretty darn important. THIS is the hardest, at least for me to grasp. as Carl B says...light to dark. On long, or longer lines, I've found powered graver work the best for me.......especially if your have to dig in for a deeper end. Hope all this gibberish helps. paps
