My drawing skills no matter how much effort that is put in to it will never be anything approaching the above. The main reason for it is to guage graver control

Dont be self defeating. Fortune favors the bold and intuition favors the prepared mind. You are already preparing by practicing and I like what you did even if its just a transfer. Happy chip making sir =)

I appreciate the kick in the pants Mattymo........just stating the facts sir, only the facts. The shaking problem I have is progressive and slowly advancing, so the outlook for drawing is bleek at best. I still hand draw on steel but HOPE I can cut the geometry better than drawing it. So far not toooo bad. paps

everyone engaged in the creative arts will hit plateaus. such cometh and goeth. prevail and yer skills will improve.
