I’m a big fan of, and I know I’m not the only one, of quotable tips or blips when it comes to making art. I’m hopeful you fine folks out there might have some nuggets of advice towards growing outside of your own artistic comfort zone. Just a few examples:

-draw super slowly to move into a more creative mental space (the book: drawing on the right side of your brain )

-squint your eyes to see the big picture when you draw (an old thread on here I forget who, I think our benevolent dictator)

-practice sculpting to get better at your 3D drawing (Brian Hochstrat interview)

-William Faulkner: “I only write when inspiration strikes. Fortunately it strikes at nine every morning.”

Add as you feel appropriate, and happy chip making

"It's like a onelegged man at a butt kicking contest" always a good one.
