A self-taught artist and the youngest Master Penman of nine remaining today, Weidmann keeps an old world art form alive in the context of fine art.

I believe he took a private class with our benevolent dictator as well. His work is a great example of the crossover of calligraphy and engraving (I.e. the history of copperplate). I got one of his pieces for my wife and she loves it. He’s a beast with a pen nonetheless.
