A 1/4” thumb driver with an 8mm tipI recently picked up this well abused L.W. Jery "The Rex" vise, and it didn't come with a check key.
I know this is a long shot, but anyone have one lying around that they'll part with?
Hole measures around 8mm (.315").
Thanks.

Harbor Freight. When it only has to work once! Maybe.View attachment 50859
These thumb drivers were 2.99 at advanced auto parts and the bits I bought an entire set at harbor freight for 8.99

I’m actually a fan of Harbor Disposables! BUT you gotta be careful what you buy there. In general, anything with a motor should be avoided, but they have a lot of basic odds n ends cheap. I’m even occasionally pleasantly surprised at the performance of some products. Work gloves, for one (or two?).Hey now, I’m on week 1 of working great
No motors or batteries for me from HR. Caught my plow truck on fire and I had to file a claim.I’m actually a fan of Harbor Disposables! BUT you gotta be careful what you buy there. A couple years ago i needed a magnetic base- like for a dial indicator, but for a very basic, utilitarian application- and the cheapest ones on MSC & Grainger were like $60. Harbor Freight FTW! With the usual 20% discount coupon, $11.
Thank god it wasn’t on my back when it did too!
