Hello everyone, I haven't posted here for a time but I do come to read regularly. I just wanted to show you the most recent work I finished. I would like to know which of the two sides you think is better.

The lucky animal. In many cultures the owl is appreciated as a symbol of intelligence, wisdom and experience, it is present in many sacred books, they are often associated with magic and they are also seen as a symbol of fidelity in love. There are different interpretations around this beautiful and capable animal.

I like the, to me, the nightime image with the stylized star burst. It’s sort of like a setting for the owl where they hunt for food at night. The reflection in the eye, is that platinum? Could you share your grind angle on your graver for the fine shade lines please?

In this work use a 115° angle, a very short heel 0.075mm approximately and 0.1mm for shading and for contour lines 0.125 mm approximately. Maybe the difference between one and the other is not much but for me it was. The closest turns with the shortest heel and the rest with 0.1 mm.
