Hi Friends and Engravers!
I have been designing and making jewelry for about 20 years now as an independent. I am a proud grad of the New Approach School for Jewelers bench program. I am also a graphic designer, a mother and an entrepreneur. For the past 7 years I lived and worked in Memphis TN. The home of the blues, BBQ and The National Ornamental Metal Museum. I volunteered at the Museum with hopes of absorbing every ounce I could of the Blacksmith shop and Foundry, two areas of the metal field I didn't have any firsthand experience with. My time with the Museum was spectacular even though I became the Museums graphic designer instead of apprentice. In May of 2019 I moved to New Orleans and have decided to hang up my Graphic Design biz, and focus solely on Jewelry (and raising my children
I have some experience with hand engraving- bestowed upon me by the great Jason Marchiafava, but more so in stone setting. I recently purchased a Gravermax and thought it was time I joined this group as well. Thank you in advance for all the shared knowledge everyone who has come before me has so generously donated.
