How much engraving is on the barrel? the Japanese engravers liked to engrave about half the barrel on guns I've seen many of these guns come pass my table at the gun show. J.J.
I had a friend here in Centerville Virginia who had a engraved Marlin by John E. Warren but he passed away in May Tom Wolfinger was his name his father worked for Winchester as a salesman. J.J.

Mike, The Colt did have some plating and I removed it with wet & dry automotive paper and filing the grips were made by Jim Lowe he also works on the fine lettering for me and thanks for your kinds words everyone. J.J.

do a lot of file and sanding before engraving.
