1903 Colt single action

I own a 1903 Colt single action which has been engraved and plated prior to 1950.
I'm attempting to identify the engraver, the only indication is the initials AC which appear on the barrel in front of the cylinder pin. Their are also four 0000 in one location within the engraving pattern. The initials AC isn't something Colt would have put on this weapon. Any help or hints would be appreciated. Thank you Rocky
