Hi all, a few weeks ago I visited a vintage machinery and steam restoration place open day here in Queensland, Australia, as I do every year, some times they have antiques and other things for sale, well it was the happiest day of the year for me, on the ground amongst the rusted tins and old tools I came across this little rusted beauty, a Winchester Model 1892 frame, total cost $5.00 bucks , I have started to restore it, as I plan to engrave it and have it as a wall hanger, I think is going to be a nice project, I have most other parts that I bought from a gun show the other day, even an original .25/20 caliber octagon barrel :clapping:, I know what you will be thinking when you see the photos, but as this will be the closest I will ever get to engraving a real gun, it will be worth my trouble to clean it up, it is already looking good, this are the before pictures, the last two are after a quick sand blasting, more to come, thanks,
Richard.
