A ring I made

I know it´s not engraving, but there is a bit of stonesetting there. I use the same tools for that.
The photo is not very good. I need to learn more about lighting and such.

Nice looking ring - and that's a pretty darn good macro shot, IMHO.

About the only lighting thing you could do to improve it would be to use some sheets of white paper to even out the reflections (basically arrange them so they're all you see being reflected so it looks like you're not seeing anything reflected).

Do you have a shot of the center section, with the stones?

I watched the photographer take shots of some jewelry and the background was a piece of clean (white) heavy grade paper - layed against a vertical so that it had a gentle bend in it and the jewelry was placed on the front part of the paper that was horizontal. The bend in the paper added a gradient tint that was very pleasing. I always wondered how that was done in professional shots. I have tried it and it works. Your ring deserves a fancy background.

Yes, the big stone is held in by the two sides. The eight small ones are held by beeds. Set like Alexandre Sidorov tought me.
